Northern Forest Heritage Days Joe Dodge Lodge, Pinkham Notch
November 27-30
We invite you and your family to join us for A Northern Forest Heritage Day-themed Thanksgiving Weekend at Joe Dodge Lodge! You'll have fun learning about the cultural and natural heritage of the Northern Forest region by sampling food, arts and crafts, and music of the region.
On Friday and Saturday we will host Northern Forest artisans offering demonstrations of their work and select items for sale. Evenings will play host to regional musicians. Demonstrations will take place in the Joe Dodge Lodge and Pinkham Notch Visitor Center.
In addition to highlighting local artisans and musicians, we will share the bounty of a Thanksgiving dinner, including regional offerings and locally sourced fare as available. Nearby Great Glen Trails will also present their annual crafters fair on Saturday, November 29th offering more gifts from the Northern Forest. If we are lucky enough to get snow then cross country skiing at Great Glen Trails is complimentary for lodge guests. Wildcat regularly opens on Thanksgiving, offering the earliest skiing in New Hampshire.
The AMC supports the Northern Forest Center to mobilize people to build healthy communities, economies and ecosystems by working together across the Northern Forest region.
